About Darius
Darius Bennett began his legal career in Halifax, Nova Scotia, providing general litigation services, before relocating to Calgary in 2000, where he provided litigation support for lenders, small businesses, and motor vehicle accident claims, then moved into a large banking litigation and collections practice for one of Canada's largest banks. His current practice includes wills and estate planning, estate administration, commercial and residential real estate conveyancing, corporate financing, general corporate services, employment law, and regulatory defence work under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. Darius has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, and the Provincial Court (Civil) of Alberta. He holds a B.B.A. from Acadia University and an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick, was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1997, and the Alberta Bar in 2001.
