About Danielle
Danielle Wierenga is an associate at Allen/McMillan Litigation Counsel practising civil and commercial litigation. A 2024 call to the bar, she has already appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and at the Supreme Court of Canada. During law school she won the Laskin Moot award, was recognized as a top oralist, and earned course prizes in tax and constitutional law; she articled at a major Vancouver law firm and holds a specialization certificate in Aboriginal and Indigenous law. Her matters include appellate work on personal injury damages, a constitutional intervention on Medical Assistance in Dying rights, and intervener representation at the Supreme Court of Canada on habeas corpus.
