About Danielle

Danielle Bailey-Heelan maintains a broad litigation-focused practice in Stewart McKelvey's Halifax office, with experience in construction, insurance, professional regulation and misconduct, and alternative dispute resolution. She has worked on complex commercial disputes involving allegations of fraud and professional negligence, including legal research, drafting briefs and affidavits, and supporting clients through mediation. She has appeared before the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, acting for clients including insurance companies, real estate investment trusts, and professionals and their regulatory bodies. She earned her JD from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in 2024 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta in 2021. She was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2025.
