About Daniela

Daniela is a partner and trademark agent in Halifax focused on intellectual property disputes, arbitration, corporate commercial litigation, and class actions. She has acted in high-profile Atlantic Canadian trademark and copyright cases, represented an international energy company in a clean-tech regulatory dispute, and worked on cross-border proceedings involving trade and competition issues. She was appointed King's Counsel for Nova Scotia in 2020 and sits on the Copyright Board of Canada. Daniela holds an LLM from Harvard Law School (2002), an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School (1996), and a BA from the University of Toronto (1993). She was called to the bar in Ontario in 1998 and Nova Scotia in 2003.
