About Daniel

Daniel Mester is an associate in Osler's Financial Services Group, based in Toronto. His work covers corporate debt financing, including cross-border and domestic lending, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, private credit, securitization, and project finance. Mester first joined Osler as a summer student in 2022 and came back to complete his articles in 2023. While earning his JD, he co-founded the University of Toronto's Real Estate Law Society, led a research group for the Future of Law Lab, interned with a legal technology company, and worked as a peer tutor and mentor. Before law school, he completed an HBA at the Ivey Business School and worked as a data and insights analyst for a Toronto e-commerce company.
