About Daniel

Daniel Hnatchuk is an associate practising across intellectual property litigation, including pharmaceutical, mechanical, chemical and agri-food patent disputes, trademark infringement and expungement proceedings, industrial design actions, and copyright litigation. He has appeared before the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Trademarks Opposition Board. Daniel is a registered Canadian trademark agent and serves as the firm's senior Ottawa-based agent for matters before the Supreme Court of Canada, including leave applications, motions to intervene and appeals. His work covers the full range of contentious IP matters, from cease-and-desist correspondence and settlement talks through discovery, expert evidence, trial and appeals.
