Michael F. Motala is a lawyer, legal scholar, political economist, and entrepreneur who was called to the bar in 2020 and is a Notary Public with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. His practice focuses on civil litigation, landlord and tenant law, wrongful termination, human rights, commercial disputes, business law, and criminal defence. He holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, and he has taught law at Stanford Law School and Columbia Law School.
