About Daniel

Daniel Sorensen was born in Denmark and grew up in Chilliwack, BC. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Political Science from the University of Victoria in 2003, then obtained his law degree from the same university in 2008 before being called to the British Columbia bar in 2009. In 2014 he founded and ran his own Fraser Valley law firm for over a decade before joining Sorensen Truong LLP as a partner. He has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and a wide range of administrative bodies, including WorkSafeBC, the BC and Canadian Human Rights Tribunals, and the Labour Relations Board, and he acts for both employers and employees in employment matters as well as advising businesses on contracts, leases and collections. Daniel is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and is active in the Chilliwack community, including as President of the Chilliwack Academy of Music.
