Michael Truong is a Vietnamese-Canadian lawyer raised in British Columbia. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at Simon Fraser University before earning his law degree at Thompson Rivers University in 2014, as part of its second graduating class. After articling with the Downtown Community Court, he joined a Fraser Valley law firm in 2015, became an associate and then partner in 2021, and in 2025 co-founded Sorensen Truong LLP with Daniel Sorensen and Jasdeep Gill-Kahlon. He is an experienced litigator who has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and before several administrative bodies, and his solicitor practice covers business, real estate, wills and estates, and employment matters.
