About Dan
Dan Lemaire is a Peterborough native who returned to that hometown to article and practise at Aitken Robertson. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in History from Trent University, graduating on the President's and Dean's Honour Roll, and a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, earning top standing in Criminal Law, Legal Skills, Torts, and Advanced Legal Research. Dan articled under Richard Aitken, a DUI defence lawyer, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2019. Since then the practice has focused exclusively on criminal defence, with particular emphasis on DUI and Charter matters, litigating trials involving DUI charges and sexual assault allegations and negotiating favourable resolutions for clients. Dan takes time to walk clients through the process and offers free 30-minute consultations.
