About Cynthia

Cynthia moved her wrongful death and personal injury practice to Weir Bowen in 2021 from a national firm's partnership, drawn by the firm's medical negligence group. She has extended her practice to historical sexual assault claims as a founding member and Vice President of the national Sexual Abuse Lawyers Alliance. A former broadcast journalist, she brings investigative and presentation skills to cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, unsafe premises, defective products, and negligent institutions, and developed the Canadian Bar Association's nationally accredited Legal Media Relations program. She has been named to Best Lawyers in Canada for Personal Injury Litigation since 2021, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Edmonton Bar Association, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
