About Shaun

Shaun Wetmore is a partner at McCuaig Desrochers LLP practising across civil litigation, construction, family law, estates, agribusiness and commercial law. Raised in rural east-central Alberta, he earned both a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. He joined the firm as an associate in July 2014 after completing his articles and became a partner in January 2020. During law school he worked as a Criminal Project Dayleader with Student Legal Services of Edmonton and later served on its executive committee, and he continues to volunteer with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
