Real Estate LawSandra Badejo has been an active member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association since 2010 and has practised law since 2003. She is a Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer and a Certified Mediator, and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, which lets her help clients resolve disputes outside the adversarial court process while also litigating when needed. Her practice covers family law, including representing children and youth in child welfare matters, as well as wills and estates and real estate law. Before being called to the Alberta bar in 2010, she was an associate at a commercial law firm in Nigeria, practising business law, trademark law, immigration law, civil litigation, and oil and gas law, and remains an inactive member of the Nigerian Bar Association. She holds an LL.M. from the University of Alberta (2010), a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School (2003), and an LL.B. with honours from the University of Lagos (2002). She also serves on the Alberta Human Rights Commission and the Law Society of Alberta's Practice Review Committee, and mentors other lawyers through the Law Society of Alberta Mentorship Program.
