Crawford Smith represents clients in corporate and commercial litigation, regulatory disputes, securities matters, professional liability claims, energy proceedings, insurance disputes, competition litigation, and class actions. He has experience with disputes in specialized and highly regulated sectors, including energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and financial services. Crawford has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, before the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal, and before tribunals such as the Ontario Energy Board, the Ontario Securities Commission, the Competition Tribunal, and the Human Rights Tribunal. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a past director of The Advocates' Society, and chair of its Standing Committee on Advocacy and Practice.
