Tax LawCraig Zawada, K.C. is senior counsel at Procido LLP with nearly 40 years of experience in intellectual property, commercial law, and corporate governance. He is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Alberta Bar in 1986 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 1987, and he spent 10 years as CEO of a Saskatoon law firm he co-founded. Craig served as President of the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2018 and has held numerous board and committee roles, including with the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII) and the Saskatchewan Research Council. He teaches a course on the future of legal practice at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law and produces the Law Society's Bite Size CPD video series. His practice includes trademark prosecution, licensing and software agreements, business sales and acquisitions, and tax and governance advice for businesses of all sizes.
