About Corey
Corey Levin is Of Counsel at Caravel Law with extensive experience in commercial negotiation, corporate governance, and building and scaling legal departments. He has overseen legal and compliance functions in-house, at times serving as an organization's sole legal support, handling multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance, commercial negotiations, audit responses, and governance matters. Corey advises sales, marketing, finance, HR, M&A, procurement, and IT teams on business-focused legal and compliance issues. During his time with technology companies he gained experience on both the service-provider and customer sides negotiating SaaS agreements, particularly around preventing online fraud, and has helped Canadian businesses expand into the US, Australia, and the UK. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario (2000) and a B.A. from the University of Alberta (1997), and previously worked at Aylesworth LLP, Bluecat Networks, CAF.IO, and Ethoca.
