About Iman

Iman Ahsan is an associate whose practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on M&A, private equity, and investment funds. She is fluent in Urdu. Before joining Torys, Iman practised law in Qatar and Pakistan for seven years, advising public and private sector clients on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, project finance, and investment structuring, including work in digital infrastructure and urban development. She has also mentored students through the Law in Action Within Schools program. Iman earned her LLB (Honours) from the University of Sussex in 2013 and completed the BPTC at the University of Law in 2014. She was called to the bar in Pakistan in 2016 and in Ontario in 2025.
