About Colleen
Colleen Arsenault is a partner at Beard Winter who practises exclusively within the insurance group, handling tort matters such as disability benefits, motor vehicle accidents, property damage, occupiers' liability, product liability, construction, and general liability coverage disputes. A significant part of her work involves life and health claims, including short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and critical illness policies. She has represented clients before every level of Ontario's courts, up to and including the Court of Appeal, and has handled hundreds of examinations for discovery and mediations over her career. Colleen was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and is also a member of the Bar in Manitoba and Alberta, both since 2023. She holds an LLB from Queen's University and a BBA with honours from Acadia University.
