About Cole

Cole Eisen works mainly in civil litigation and labour law, aiming to give workers across all industries affordable, practical representation, whether he's negotiating severance for a non-unionized employee or acting for a union and its members. He joined Cavalluzzo as an associate in 2021 after summering and articling there, and has appeared at the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court. He recently finished an MPhil at Oxford examining work law, freedom of association, and union governance, and graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2020 after a B.A. in Industrial Relations from McGill. Before law school he was active in a large private-sector union and worked as a policy researcher at the Canadian Labour Congress.
