About Claire

Claire Lawrence was called to the Quebec Bar after completing her articling at Spunt & Carin. During law school she worked with a sole practitioner, which sparked her interest in family law and exposed her to a wide range of family law mandates. She was a caseworker with the McGill Trans Legal Clinic, providing Montreal's trans community with legal information and support, and was an organizing member of a journal examining social and legal issues affecting queer families. Lawrence is a member of the Young Bar Association of Montreal and the Quebec Association of Defence Lawyers.
