About Alexander

Alexander Carin is a founding partner of Spunt & Carin, which he joined in 2020. He was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2012, in addition to the Quebec Bar. Carin began his career as an articling student at Goldwater-Dubé, where he practised family law for ten years and was named partner in 2019. He has appeared before the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec, and the Quebec Court of Appeal, and has conducted numerous settlement conferences. His practice has developed particular expertise in the financial consequences of the breakdown of a marriage or cohabitation, including the division of family assets.
