About Claire

Claire Doucher was born and raised in Aurora, Ontario and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Brock University, including a year studying abroad in Hong Kong. She completed her Juris Doctor at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she volunteered assisting community members with legal forms and coordinated a mentorship program between the legal community and law students. Claire articled with the Crown Attorney's Office in St. Catharines, Ontario and was called to the Ontario bar before moving to Glace Bay in the summer of 2022, where she was called to the Nova Scotia bar. Her practice focuses on wills and estate planning and probate and estate administration.
