About Gordon

Gordon Gear was born and raised in Cape Breton and is the owner and principal lawyer of Crosby Law Group. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Thomas University with a double major in Psychology and Religious Studies, then a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where he took part in trial advocacy courses and volunteered with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic. He articled with a large regional firm in New Brunswick, working with a local Immigration and Refugee Clinic and a boutique family law practice, and was called to the New Brunswick bar before returning to Cape Breton in 2018 and being called to the Nova Scotia bar. Gordon has completed the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Land Registration Assessment and focuses his practice on property and real estate law, wills and estate planning, probate and estate administration, and family law.
