About Shazia

Shazia Hosenbocus was born and raised in Kamloops and is a first-generation Mauritian-Canadian. She earned her law degree from the University of Calgary in 2020 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2021. She also operates Morelli Chertkow's Ashcroft office, practising primarily in corporate and commercial law, real estate transactions, and estate planning and administration. Shazia coaches the Special Olympics BC powerlifting team and sits on the boards of two non-profit societies.
