About Christine
Christine N. (Little) Shepherd is a family law lawyer at Smith & Little LLP with more than ten years of experience, and is shifting her focus toward mediation and arbitration. She earned a B.A. from the University of Calgary in 2005 and an LL.B. from the University of Southampton in 2011, and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta on May 21, 2014. She completed further training in mediation of family and divorce conflicts through the Legal Education Society of Alberta in 2023. She belongs to the Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association, the Association of Women Lawyers, the Calgary Bar Association, the Advocates' Society, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers - Western Chapter, the Alberta Family Lawyers Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She has presented on legal practice topics for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and co-hosted the firm's seminar series for lawyers in 2018 and 2019.
