About Chris
Chris practices construction law and commercial litigation, representing owners, contractors and other building professionals in complex construction disputes, often using alternative dispute resolution to reach settlement. He drafts and reviews contracts for major construction projects, including standard form terms for institutional clients, and has represented parties in disputes involving construction deficiencies and builders' liens. Chris also advises technology clients on licensing and procurement agreements and represents them in commercial disputes. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University and a B.A. from McGill University, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2005. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, and has served as chair of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust and past president of the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
