About Chris

Chris Hummel practices at the intersections of environmental, Indigenous and energy law at Gowling WLG's Toronto office. He advocates for clients in courts and tribunals on land disputes, environmental assessments and Indigenous commercial matters, with published work on Impact-Benefit Agreements. His energy practice includes advising electric utilities and companies on grid-scale battery storage, renewable power generation and small modular reactors.
