About Chris

Chris Alveberg is a lawyer at Nixon Wenger LLP whose practice covers business transactions, lending and borrowing, land development, estate planning, and residential real estate. He is particularly known for his work in land development and complex estate planning, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care representation agreements, and he regularly assists clients with grants of probate and letters of administration. Alveberg earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria in 1985 and his law degree from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 1988, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1989. He has served the Vernon community through roles with the Vernon Estate Planning Council, the Community Foundation of the North Okanagan, and the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
