About Irina

Irina Kordic is Murphy Battista LLP's managing partner and has worked at the firm for 20 years, representing only plaintiffs. She has extensive trial experience in complex injury cases, civil sexual assault cases, wills variation cases and class actions, and has represented clients at all levels of court in BC. She also has considerable experience resolving cases through mediation and negotiation, and takes a distinct, practical approach tailored to each client's situation. Irina earned her LLB from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC in 2006 and a BA from UBC in 2003, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2007 and the Saskatchewan bar in 2026. She serves on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and mentors new women lawyers.
