About Charles

Chuck co-founded the firm and has practised law in Toronto since 1969, earning King's Counsel status in 1985. Over his career he has built a strong reputation as a public law litigator, regularly advising private and public sector clients, including governments at every level. He publishes frequently and lectures often at legal conferences, and he provides strategic direction within the firm while also volunteering for a number of non-profit causes. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario bar the same era. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in both corporate and commercial litigation and municipal law, and outside the office he runs a working beef farm.
