About Carly

Carly Romanow is an associate at Gerrand Rath Johnson LLP practising labour and employment law, civil litigation, human rights law, and wills, estates and personal planning. Before joining the firm in January 2026, she spent nearly a decade at Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan, first as Programs Director and Staff Lawyer and later as Executive Director and Staff Lawyer of the provincial non-profit providing free legal services to low-income clients. Carly received the Lung Association of Saskatchewan's Distinction in Public Policy Award in 2018 for a precedent-setting case on second-hand smoke for low-income tenants, and she serves as a Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Born and raised in Regina, she graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2014 and was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2015.
