About Carly

Carly Burk is a corporate securities associate who joined Irwin Lowy LLP as a law clerk in February 2018 and began articling in January 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southampton, a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Carleton University. Her work has included private placements of equity and debt securities, public offerings, reverse takeovers, going-public transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters, and she currently serves as an officer or director of several public companies and reporting issuers. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
