About Caitlin

Caitlin Cardill is an associate at Nelligan Law and a member of its Litigation and Estates Law practice groups, with a focus on civil and estate litigation including commercial and construction disputes. Before joining the firm she practised civil and commercial litigation, personal bankruptcy and insolvency, estate litigation, construction litigation, and real estate litigation at another Ottawa firm, and worked at the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee during her articles. She has appeared before Ontario's Divisional Court, Superior Court, and Small Claims Court, as well as various boards and tribunals, and has assisted lead counsel at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Law through a joint program between the National University of Ireland and the University of Ottawa. She was named to the 2025 Best Lawyers 'Ones to Watch' list.
