About Megan

Megan McKay was raised in small-town Ontario and earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph and her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2022 and has practiced almost exclusively in family law since, advising clients on property division, spousal and child support, and parenting arrangements, and representing clients at all levels of court including the Court of Appeal. Before law school she worked in the non-profit sector, and she continues to volunteer with Rise Women's Legal Centre and Access Pro Bono.
