About Brianna
Brianna Pioli is an associate whose practice covers corporate and commercial law, particularly mergers and acquisitions and private equity work. She has worked on both public and private M&A files, acting for companies on both the acquiring and target sides. She also advises public companies on disclosure requirements, corporate governance and various other corporate and securities law matters. While in law school, Brianna worked as a student caseworker at Queen's Elder Law Clinic, assisting with wills and estates matters. Her academic honours include the Queen's Law Prize granted for Introduction to Legal Research, as well as the Denis Marshall Contribution Award, given by the Law Students' Society, from Queen's University's Faculty of Law. She also volunteered with the Society of Graduate and Professional Students, advocating for law students' interests, and conducted legal research for Autism Ontario through Pro Bono Students Canada. In addition, Brianna took part in the Law in Action Within Schools program, which uses legal education to help students succeed and become engaged, active citizens.
