About Brian

Brian Cheng practises commercial litigation and insurance defence, covering construction, landlord-tenant, corporate and shareholder disputes, professional negligence, property damage and personal injury matters. Cheng was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2011 and practised there before relocating to Vancouver in 2014, later earning an LLM from UBC. Cheng co-chairs Owen Bird's Associates and Articling Committee, volunteers with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, UBC's Law Students' Legal Advice Program and Access Pro Bono, and serves as a swiftwater rescue technician.
