Personal InjuryBob Buckingham has represented survivors of institutional sexual abuse for decades, including many men who brought claims against the Christian Brothers of Ireland after its Canadian branch went into liquidation in the 1990s and 2000s. He also represents individuals with claims against the United Church of Canada and a former minister and doctor accused of abuse during missionary work in Canada and overseas. He was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1991 and to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 1992, and maintains a general practice covering criminal law, family law, wills and estates, personal injury, and civil litigation and corporate and commercial work at all levels of court in Canada.
