About Binesi

Binesi Storm Boulanger is a member of Berens River First Nation and practises as a junior associate in family law and child protection. She articled with Peguis Child and Family Services, assisting with the implementation of the First Nation's own child welfare legislation under Bill C-92. She completed her law degree at the University of Manitoba in 2022, including Osgoode Hall's Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources and Governments, and was called to the Manitoba bar in June 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2018, receiving the gold medal for her Indigenous Studies major.
