About Chelsey

Chelsey Koswin is a member of the Manitoba Metis Federation and practises in family law, child protection law, and real estate law. Before joining the firm, she worked as an attorney with the First Nations Family Advocate Office and articled in family law and child protection with Legal Aid Manitoba. She has also taught a section of Introduction to Indigenous Politics and Governance at the University of Winnipeg. She graduated from Robson Hall, the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law, in 2020, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg in 2016, receiving the gold medal for her Indigenous Studies major. She was called to the Manitoba bar in September 2023.
