About Patricia

Patricia R. Bagnas is an associate at MLT Aikins LLP in Winnipeg, practising Canadian and U.S. immigration law. She earned her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2017 and was admitted to the North Dakota bar the same year. Before moving to Manitoba, she worked with Legal Services of North Dakota supporting survivors of human trafficking, then practised immigration, criminal, family, and general litigation, including permanent residency and asylum matters for domestic violence survivors and family sponsorship petitions for small businesses. Bagnas holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg (2013) and obtained her Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2023 before her call to the Manitoba bar in 2024.
