About Bikram

Bikram Singh Bal is a litigation partner whose practice covers commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, oppression remedy and derivative actions, and shareholder and partnership disagreements. He also handles debtor-creditor litigation, estate disputes, construction claims, defamation matters, employment issues, and mortgage enforcement, appearing before the Federal Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Superior Court of Justice as well as in mediation and arbitration. He obtained a Mareva injunction against a corporation that took payment for a yacht it never delivered, and has argued numerous summary judgment motions on behalf of clients. Bikram holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2015. He is fluent in English, French, and Punjabi.
