About Bernard

Bernard Mahoney is counsel with roughly forty years of experience in municipal law and related fields, including construction law and environmental law. Mahoney has developed particular expertise in matters involving large-scale projects. Before joining the firm, Mahoney practised municipal law, administrative law, and civil law with the City of Montreal's legal affairs department, where Mahoney headed the private law division for close to fifteen years. Mahoney's experience in municipal contracting, regulatory drafting, and private bill presentations is regularly applied on behalf of the firm's clients. Mahoney also writes articles and gives presentations on municipal law topics, including the adjudication of public contracts. Mahoney was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1974.
