About Ben
Ben Rovet is a CIPP/C certified corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive technology industry experience, gained in part through prior roles at companies including Yak Communications, Rogers Cable, and Call-Net Enterprises. At Caravel Law, Ben works on corporate, commercial, and technology matters, drafting distribution and OEM agreements, contractor agreements, e-commerce agreements, terms of service, and software licensing and development agreements for clients such as Cogeco Data Services, Sangoma Technologies, and Primus Canada. Ben also advises on CRTC policy and compliance and has helped a number of clients with Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation compliance, including auditing marketing practices and developing compliance plans. Ben works with clients on privacy policies and procedures and holds a law degree from the University of Toronto and a B.A. from McGill University.
