About Elizabeth
Elizabeth A. Harris was called to the British Columbia bar in 1993 after earning her law degree from the University of Victoria in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 1989. She was raised in Kamloops and returned to practise there after several years in Vancouver and Vernon. Elizabeth is an accredited mediator whose practice covers civil litigation, commercial litigation, employment, estate litigation, and mediation and arbitration. She has appeared in reported decisions before the BC Supreme Court, the BC Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court, including Jylha v. Teck Highland Valley Copper Partnership and British Columbia v. Baron Enterprises Ltd. She has chaired the board of ASK Wellness Society and mentors young lawyers through TRU Law and the Professional Legal Training Course, and belongs to the Kamloops Bar Association, the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and the Trial Lawyers of America.
