Balfour Der, K.C. leads Der Barristers and practices exclusively in criminal law. He worked as a Crown prosecutor for about a decade, handling hundreds of serious criminal cases at the trial and appellate levels, before moving into private criminal defence practice. He has represented more than 5,000 clients in Calgary, across Alberta, and throughout Canada, and personally oversees the professional development of the firm's other lawyers.
