About Ashu

Ashu Ismail serves as Of Counsel to Campisi Law and was called to the bar in 2007 after earning her law degree at Osgoode Hall and a four-year undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. She spent her first ten years in practice representing insurers, which gave her an inside understanding of the rules meant to protect accident victims. Since 2017 she has acted only for injured and wronged clients, appearing on their behalf at the Divisional Court, in the Superior Court, and before bodies including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the Human Rights Tribunal. Her guiding approach is simple: understand the law, keep the client informed, and advocate without hesitation.
