Alison L. Pengelley is a partner and head of the Simcoe County family law practice group at Epstein & Associates, working from the Barrie office. Her practice resolves family disputes through litigation, negotiation, mediation and arbitration, and she has a strong record of success across Ontario courts, including trial advocacy. Before earning her doctorate of jurisprudence at Osgoode Hall Law School, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and accounting. She practised for many years at a prominent Barrie family law firm and later at a downtown Toronto litigation boutique before joining Epstein & Associates as a partner in 2021. She speaks frequently on property, support and related tax issues and was called to the bar in 2011.
