About Ashley

Ashley Faust holds a dual role at McCague Borlack, working as a litigator while also serving as the firm's Director of Student Program and Audit. Her litigation practice focuses on insurance defence, with particular experience in occupiers' liability and professional liability matters, and she has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal, and various tribunals. As Director, she oversees the recruitment, supervision, and professional development of the firm's summer and articling students, along with the firm's continuing professional development and mentorship programs. Ashley earned her Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 2006 and a BA with honours in political science and law and society from York University in 2002, and she was called to the bar in 2007.
