About Katherine

Katherine Burt earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario in 1992 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 1996. She has worked on both sides of personal injury files, having represented insurance companies as well as injured claimants, and has appeared before the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen's Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Her practice makes extensive use of alternative dispute resolution to resolve injury claims. Outside the office, she enjoys golf and travelling.
