About Andy

Andy Gibbons is a partner at Torys and co-head of the firm's Commercial Real Estate Practice. His work centers on commercial real estate law, with particular attention to infrastructure, public-private partnerships, construction matters, and energy projects. He regularly represents developers, consortiums, lending syndicates, and government bodies in project construction and development financing, along with acquisitions and dispositions. He also advises on the real estate side of mergers and acquisitions, REITs, and other securities law matters. Andy once practiced real estate law in England and now belongs to NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) and ULI (Urban Land Institute). He sits on the board of Neighbourhood Link Homes, a non-profit that provides housing for families and seniors in east Toronto, and formerly co-chaired the board of St. Michael's Homes, a Toronto charity.
